Under the transformative society, the communication between eastern and western culture becomes closer and more frequent, which offers a fundamental condition for creating new socialism culture. Recently, we should pay more attention on the contemporary value of traditional culture in educational reform. This article tries to reveal the educational value of traditional culture, and put forward some suggestions based on the traditional culture from three layers－macro-idea, middle-institution and micro-process, and six aspects－idea, system, evaluation, content and pattern of education.
