基于战略管理的基本原理和大学的组织特性，本文提出了研究型大学跨越式发展的的战略领导的概念、基本框架和理论假说，并选择了三个中外著名大学跨越式发展的案例进行实证分析，结果发现：跨越式发展的多个案例中体现典型的战略领导模式而非 “垃圾桶”模式，战略领导对跨越式发展有非常重要的作用。

| 英文摘要 |
Based on fundamental theories of strategic management and organizational characters of the university , this paper provides an analysis of concepts and hypotheses about strategic leadership in the leap—forward development of research universities. Based on case studies of three famous universities, it is found that universities with successful leap—forward development have typical strategic leadership instead of leadership of garbage—can style, which plays very important roles in the development process.
