英文摘要 The plight of general education in higher education institutions in China is caused by various misunderstandings around the concept of general education. The connotation of general education is associated with idea, system and curriculum.. The idea of holistic education is good for us to know correctly and comprehensively the connotation of general education. General education is a kind of interdisciplinary education, which cultivate human qualities and humanistic spirit.
