本文以傅斯年未满两年的台大校长任内之改革理念及措施作为中心，分析傅斯年之大学理念、改革原则及其具体作为，指出傅斯年心目中理想的大学近于欧洲的大学之典型，但是其改革原则特别着重本国之具体社会文化脉胳，并强调专业训练与通识教育的动态平衡。

Fu Si—nian used to be President of Taiwan University. The paper analyzes his idea of university；principle for reform and practices in university administration. It intends to tell the readers that though his idea of university is very much close to the European model but in acted reform, he paid special attention indigenous culture and social context.
