| 英文摘要 |
This paper is an introductory analysis of university partnerships in the United States. External partnerships with local, regional, national, and international constituencies reflect and promote innovative changes in American universities. The paper offers a preliminary inventory for university partnerships and selected lessons learned about partnership formation and operation. If this analysis assists university colleagues in China with partnership-related planning and decision-making, it has achieved its primary aim.
