中文摘要      本研究係針對高雄地區公私立高級中等學校學生,進行升學壓力與因應行為之調查研究。 自高雄縣市 23 所高級中學當中,抽取 8 所公立高中、3 所私立高中的高一、二及三年級學生共計 2381 人為樣本。測量工具係改自黃淑馨 (民 82 ) 所編之「國中生學習經驗量表」,內容包括「升學壓力」與「升學壓力因應行為」兩個分量表。本研究採用單因子單變項變異數分析 (One-way Anova) 及單因子多變項變異數分析    (One-way Manova) 進行統計分析。從研究結果得知,高雄地區高中生所承受的升學壓力強度介於中度壓力與輕度壓力之間,其中最主要的壓力來源依序為:自我壓力、父母壓力和時間壓力;而所表現出的因應行為積極面多於消極面, 詳細發現分述如下:一、在整體升學壓力方面 (一 ) 高雄縣的學生升學壓力大於高雄市;私立學校學生升學壓力大於公立學校;女生升學壓力大於男生。(二 ) 不同年級之間在升學壓力上並無顯著差異。(三 ) 第一類組的升學壓力大於第二、三、四合併之類組。 二、在因應行為類型方面 (一 ) 只有在投射因應行為上,高雄市的學生高於高雄縣。(二 ) 公私立高中生在因應行為方面,並無顯著差異。(三 ) 除置之不理與投射行為之外,女生在面對問題、情緒抒解和情緒困擾方面,都高於男生。(四 ) 除情緒困擾及投射行為之外,在面對問題上,三年級高於一年級;在情緒抒解上,一年級高於二、三年級;在置之不理上,三年級高於一年級。(五 ) 除面對問題與投射之外,第一類組在情緒抒解、置之不理及情緒困擾上,皆高於二、三、四合併之類組。根據上述結論,本研究提出下列建議:(一 ) 改進聯考制度,增加第一類組錄取率。(二 ) 加強輔導功能,增進學生自我維護能力。(三 ) 提供時間管理策略,有效利用讀書時間。(四 ) 加強親職教育,教導父母表達合宜的關懷。(五 ) 增進教師輔導知能,提升壓力因應策略的輔導能力。(六 ) 私立學校應加強個別化教學,以提升教學效能,增進學生成就。(七 ) 學校應加強社團活動組織,提倡正當休閒活動,適時抒解升學壓力。
英文摘要      The purpose of This Study was to investigate stress and coping behaviors of passing the College Entrance Examination for senior high students in Kaohsiung area. The sample students, 2381 in total, were drawn from 8 public and 3 private senior high schools, which were representative of 23 senior high schools in Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung County “Scale of Learning Experience for students at Senior High Schools”, composed of two subscales, “Scale of Stress” and “Scale of Coping Behaviors”, was administered to the samples. The data obtained were statistically analyzed by one-way ANOVA and one-way MANOVA.    It was found, in general, that the stress the students had was at a medium level, with the stressors in order, from the students themselves, the students’ parents and insufficiency of time for preparation for the exam, and the students, as a whole, coped with the stress in a rather constructive way.    Other results indicated:    1.The stress the students had in Kaohsiung County was stronger than that the students did in Kaohsiung City; students in private schools stronger than public ones; female students stronger than male ones.    2.The stress the students had, who were major in social science and liberal arts, was stronger than that those did, who were major in math, engineering and natural science as a group.    3.There was no significant difference in stress among students in grades 10,11 and 12.    4.Projection was found more frequently resorted to by students in Kaohsiung City than those in Kaohsiung County.    5.No significant difference was found in coping behaviors between students in public schools and private ones.    6.Coping behaviors, such as facing the problem, emotional relaxation and mental disturbance, were more frequently used by fermales than males.    7.Facing the problem and forgetting it were the two coping behaviors more frequently applied by students in 12th grade than those in 10th grade4 while emotional relaxation was more fuquently used by students in 10th grade than those in 11th and 12th grades.    8.emotional relaxation, forgetting it and mental disturbance were the coping behaviors more frequently taken by students major in social science and liberal arts than those major in math, engineering and natural science as a group.    Finally, some suggestions were provided for reference.
