Indira Gandhi National Open University is the Indian top institution specific for long-distance education. It is regarded in India as the largest university in the world. Although its initial development was quite slow in the beginning, it develops faster in recent years. As two largest nations in the world, we should be aware of the problems met in Indian National Open University and learn from its experience in particular.
