The New York University (NYU) School of Medicine pays attention to medical humanities and professionalism education for medical students. This article describes a representative program to be developed by NYU, including curricula initiatives, professionalism initiatives, the master scholar program, and three high quality literacy publications. Each of the initiative undergoes regular critical examination and reflections for future planning.
