At the era of global and knowledge-based economy, higher education is playing a central and fundamental role in socio-economic development and improvement of international competitiveness. Governance is an essential ingredient of overall development. Those who have good governance in higher education can win talents, future and the world. To some extent, good governance in higher education can even determine prosperity or decline of a country and a nation.
