According to the report from Dr. Frich and Dr. Fugelli, a course titled Medicine and the Arts was created in 1996. This course is part of the undergraduate medical curriculum at the University of Oslo Faculty of Medicine. The course comprises four two-hour seminars of literature, visual arts, architecture and music. Its objectives are to demonstrate how art can be a source of personnel and professional. The authors describe the course objectives and structure, content and teaching strategies, and discuss some problem concerned.
