Tenure system has suffered fierce criticism from all sides in American colleges and universities at the end of 20th century. It is necessary for tenure system to be reformed. In order to build scientific and reasonable faculty employment system. American colleges and universities continue to improve Tenure system by carrying out post─tenure system and so on.
