In modern China, Yan Fu, Liang Qi-chao etc. proposed the idea of social education so as to arouse the "sociability" of Chinese people. And then in the "Min Guo Period", Sun Yat-sen, Cai Yuan-pei continued to stick on the cultivation of sociability. Their claims led the government of that time to introduce " social education" as the nation's education goal. Additionally, some famous educators, such as Mei Yi-qi, Luo Zhou-zhong, Pan Guang-dan developed the ideas of "social education". Nowadays, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Marco and Singapore still persist in "social education". In the new era, we should reconsider the "social education" and put it into practices positively.
