| 英文摘要 |
Duke University has realized successfully the transformation from a regional university to a national fist-class university in a short period of time. Educational innovation plays an important role in its development. This article analyses the main reasons of its success and find that advanced education ideas, foresighted development planning, effective fiscal management, and innovation in education mode and management institution are the important factors for research university to make great-leap-forward development.
