中文摘要 美國的服務學習方案,學生在參與社區服務後能夠在課堂上討論其服務的感受;或將正式的學分課程與服務活動結合在一起,達到服務與學習的名實相符之效。新加坡受到此教育思潮的影響,教育部於1997年實施社區參與方案來推動服務學習,本研究旨在分析新加坡如何擷取西方文化的經驗,發展出適合亞洲文化的服務學習制度,供國內各界未來推動服務學習之參考。
英文摘要 Students could discuss their feelings after the services in class in the service learning programs in the United States. Service learning activities with credits can also achieve the goals of service and learning. Influenced by the above educational trend, the Ministry of Education in Singapore started to implement service learning by complementing community involvement programs. The study is to analyze how Singapore used the experiences of western cultures to develop a service learning system which is suitable for Asian cultures to provide references for the promotion of service learning in Taiwan in the future.
