There are many approaches and instruments used to assess quality in higher education in the U. S.. Questionnaire survey instrument is one of them which is used primarily to ask students and alumni to judge for themselves whether they have benefited from the college or university study. Under the influence of the quality movement in American higher education, surveys have been widely used to assess quality of American undergraduate education, displaying to some extent the concept of quality in American higher education.
