| 英文摘要 |
Developing students 'leadership is one of the significant purposes of liberal education in American colleges. This article reviews the leadership theoretical foundation of student leadership development in undergraduate liberal education and introduces the curricula and administration of student leadership education in American colleges. It also discusses the lessons from theories and practice of student leadership development in American colleges and offers suggestions for Chinese colleges.
