中文摘要 本研究旨在以標竿管理觀點來建構私立中學學校競爭力指標體系與其權重。首先,實地訪問3所優質學校的校長,再以23位學者專家作為懷德術(Delphi method)專家成員。懷德術專家成員的主要任務是評判競爭力指標之適切性與其權重體系。進行兩個回合的Delphi問卷調查,得出競爭力指標的適切性程度。最後,再進行一次相對權重問卷,並以階層程序分析法(analytic hierarchy process, AHP)建構其權重體系。研究結論如下所列:一、標竿管理可做為學校競爭力指標建構的理論基礎。二、私立中學學校競爭力適切性指標可當成學校競爭力之評估工具。三、私立中學學校競爭力重要性指標可用來強化學校整體競爭力。本研究提出之建議如下:一、引進標竿管理以提升私立中學之學校效能與服務品質。二、在進修研習活動中提供有關標竿管理與學校競爭力的相關課程。三、可依需要選擇本研究「最優先選用」之指標來提升學校競爭
英文摘要 The main purpose of this study is to construct school competitiveness indicators and a weighting system for private high schools by benchmarking. This study interviewed three principals about school competitiveness. 23 academics were also enlisted as Delphi experts. The main task posed to these experts was to judge the availability of competitiveness indicators and the ratios of the weighting system. After two rounds of Delphi responses, the proper degree of competitiveness indicators was ascertained. Finally, questionnaires concerning the relative weights were utilized to construct the weighting system. The conclusions of this study are listed as follows: (a) Benchmarking can be used as a theoretical foundation for constructing private high schools' competitiveness indicators. (b) The propriety of private high schools' competitiveness indicators can be used as a reference tool for evaluating school competitiveness. (c) The importance of private high schools competitiveness indicators can be used as a reference tool for strengthening school competitiveness. Suggestions to private high schools: (a) Private high schools can use benchmarking to promote school effectiveness and service qualities. (b) Private high schools can provide the related curriculum of benchmarking and school competitiveness in teachers' research and study activities. (c) Depending on specific needs, private high schools can select the most ideal indicators from this study to promote school competitiveness. (d) Principals display professional leadership by building school characteristics effectively. (e) Instructors emphasize teaching effectiveness through continuous promotion of teaching quality. (f) Private high schools can cultivate students' moral characters to stabilize the foundations of the school. (g) Private high schools can utilize benchmarking to accomplish school resources integration. (h) Private high schools can stipulate the school's executive power in order to enhance school management performance.
