大学组织特性对其决策和执行体系提出的挑战，以及知识的性质对大学领导和管理机制提出的挑战，使沟通成为协调学术生活和管理决策的关键，良好的沟通有助于促进大学利益相关者关心支持学校的改革与发展。在大学的战略规划过程中，通过合理有效的沟通，能够确保战略管理的整体性和重点优先发展权的选择性，提高战略目标的纵向一致性和横向协调性，汇聚集体智能，化解战略管理的阻力。在大学战略管理中，应利用各种沟通方式，形成有效沟通机制。

| 英文摘要 |
Organizational characteristics of the university pose critical challenges to the decision─making and implementation system of the university. And the nature of knowledge pose critical challenges to governance and management mechanism of the university. Therefore, to a university, effective communication is key to the coordinating academic and administrative affairs, incorporate stakeholder support to institutional reform and development, ensure coherence, coordinate and pirorise strategic planning, empower collective wisdom, and tackle administrative resistance. It is also important to establish effective communication system with multiple communication methods in institutional strategic management.
