| 英文摘要 |
The medieval university is the origin of the modern university. A historical re─examination of the characteristics of medieval universities, including autonomy and intervention, internationalization and localization, professionalism and non─profitableness, consistency and diversity, conservativeness and progressiveness, is helpful to achieve a more comprehensive and objective understanding about the medieval universities and to offer some beneficial implications to the modern universities.
