英文摘要 Since the late 1980s, interest in emancipatory education has blossomed in nursing. Emancipatory education differs from traditional nursing education in a number of important ways. For example, rather than provide an contextualized structure focusing on content, emancipatory education represents an evolving and dynamic co-creation of learning between teacher and learner. The role is to design opportunities in dialogue and critical reflection and to create their won meaning. Its ultimate goal is to transform the students’ perspectives towards a wider, contextualized understanding. Rita Schreiber and Elizabeth Banister reported that the problems in emancipatory education are the confliction from educational philosophy, faculty buy in, group dynamics, power differentials, meeting minimum standards, and personal struggles with evaluation. And the authors propose several suggestions to solve these problems.
