During the 20th century, Educational science in China had been progressing painfully under the “driving” of alien theories, the “squeezing” of other disciplines, and the “control” of ideology, managed to get rid of its attachment to other disciplines and pursued independent development. It is helpful to discern the trends of educational science in the 21st century by tracing its history in the past century.
