| 英文摘要 |
This paper focuses on the significance of knowledge diasporas, particularly intellectual diasporas at global level. In doing so, it draws on pertinent literature on migration and education, accompanied by examples and discuss ion from the Chinese (and Jewish) intellectual diasporas. It also used a case study on the communication patterns between Chinese intellectuals abroad and those inside China, and among Chinese intellectuals abroad, for example in the USA, to illustrate the new development of intellectual diaspora in the context of globalization, especially in the world of Higher Education.
