Most of home and abroad studies on factors influencing family educational expenditures have been found to concentrate their analysis on family income or structure status, which includes family incomes and expenses, family type (double-parent or single-parent, etc.), social strata, parental educational level, living community, religion, number of children, school grade, gender, etc. Additionally, the author considers social systems, social cultures and individual preferences to be factors worthy of further investigation. When selecting operational definition to describe the three kinds of factors, we need to make in-depth discussion according to situations of different nations.
