在当代社会科学领域，“现代性、后现代性、全球性“已经形成了一条特殊的逻辑线索，并以主题的形式进入了社会科学的各个研究领域。教育社会学在现代性的主题思考与建构中，其理论如同社会学理论一样形成了“宏大叙事体“和“基础主义“；后现代性试图在超越现代性的同时，将教育社会学理论变成多元和具有反思性；当一种扩展的现代性—全球性进入我们的视野时，教育社会学家不得不把自己的研究视野从传统单一的“民族“、“社会“、“国家“扩展到国际乃至全球社会，并在研究范式上打破以民族国家中心论。人类中心论、西方中心论为主要特征的“现代性研究范式“，使得建构一种适应全球的教育社会学概念和理论体系日益成为必要和紧迫。

| 英文摘要 |
Within the sphere of contemporary social sciences, those terms as “modernity, post—modernity and globalization” has formed into a unique logic thread and predominantly penetrated into each field of social science. In constituting the concepts of ‘modernity“, sociology of education has developed the educational theory into “grand narrative” and “fundamentalism”；the contribution of post modernity is pluralism and self—examination in addition to its efforts to transcend modernity；If “globalization” is taken into account, the traditional polar terms like “modernity study paradigm”, namely “ethnocentrism, anthropocentrism and occident centrism” have been abandoned. These changes have required urgent constitution of a new set of concepts.
