PA Pulido, the Director and President（A Cravioto）of Pan─American Federation of Associations of Medical Schools and others once published an article on the Journal of Medical Teacher [2006, 28（1）：24─29]. They analyzed the factors which have affected the medical education in Latin America where medical schools have been growing arbitrarily and physicians have been distributed unbalanced. They further put forward that institutional evaluation and accreditation which have been accepted and implemented by most of other countries should be a way to solve the problems mentioned above.
