英文摘要 This article introduces the background and key points of discussion on the 1(superscript st) ASEM Conference of Ministers Responsible for Education, held in Berlin, Germany, on 5-6 May 2008. It gives a brief review on the EU-Asia higher education cooperation, higher education and the labor market, challenges and problems, main trends of development, policies and measures, and makes some considerations basing on the conclusions from the ASEM Conference of Education Ministers.
