With a self-developed questionnaire on high school students’ sense of responsibility and level-random sampling method, this survey investigates senior one and senior two students from ten schools (five key schools and five non-key schools) in five cities of Shandong Province, namely, Jinan, Tsingdao, Tai’an, Jining, Rizhao. 1000 questionnaires were distributed in this survey and 927 were returned, among which 830 are valid, the ratio of validity is 83%. The data collected was analyzed by SPSS for Windows and Lisrel 8.5W. The authors analyze the state of high-school students’ sense of responsibility in Shandong Province from six demographic variables, such as gender, grade, family origin, whether she/he is the only child, boarding student or student leader. According to the current condition, the authors make some suggestion on how to develop high school students’ sense of responsibility.
