英文摘要 This paper describes the types of adverse sanctions in the regional accreditation process in the U.S. and discusses how such sanctions could help institutional improvement to ensure quality. continuous improvement as a much needed follow-up task should be emphasized in the current Evaluation of Undergraduate Teaching in institutions of higher education in China, with particular emphasis on the understanding of what student learning entails in its assessment in today’s information economy society.
