中文摘要 美国临床心理学家安东尼•比格兰对学科领域的分类做出了开创性的研究。随后高等教育研究者对其研究成果进行了大量的实证研究,证明其有效性并命名为“比格兰模型”。该模型从3个维度将学科领域划分为8个学科群落。许多学者应用这一模型探讨了不同学科领域中科研生产方式、教师行为、系主任及其领导风格等问题。本文考察了这一模型的内涵及其应用,分析了它对高等教育发展的意义。
英文摘要 Anthony Biglan, an American clinical psychologist, made a fundamental contribution to the research on the classification of discipline areas. His research result subsequently was tested through positive research of higher education researchers, and proved to be veracious, and then was named "the Biglan Model". Basing on the three dimensions, the model compartmentalized the discipline areas into eight clusters. Many scholars utilized the model in the studies, such as research productivity of discipline, faculty behavior, department chairpersons and their leadership style. The paper reviews the connotation of the model and its utilization, and analyzes its implication for the development of higher education.
