改革开放以来，中国社会发生了深刻变革，高等教育亦不例外，其突出表现是高等教育管理中的关系大调整。经过调整，中央与地方政府的关系、教育主管部门与行业主管部门的关系、政府与高校的关系、高校与市场的关系、高校与受教育者个体及其家长的关系、高等教育结构关系等六大关系逐歩理顺，为高等教育的发展创造了较有利的条件。

| 英文摘要 |
The Chinese society has experience tremendous transformations since the Reform and Open─door, and so has the Chinese higher education. A key aspect of this higher education transformation is that of significant changes in the relationships in the administration system. During the reform process, six major types of relationships have been rationalized gradually and hence form a more conducive environment for higher education development. These six major relationships are those between central and regional government, education authorities and line ministries, government and higher education institutions（HEIs）, HEIs and the market, HEIs and individual students and their parents, and structures within higher education system.
