目前我国硕士生教育发展正面临着学术型与应用型两种发展方向的抉择，高等教育学科尤其如此。从现实的角度看，未来研究生教育发展方向并不能做这种非比即彼的选择，而应该走第三条道路，即实现学术型与应用型发展的均衡。其具体实施途径是建立学术分化机制，并通过建立新的课程选择机制来实现。

| 英文摘要 |
Going on along the traditional theoretical road or turning to the practical road？Postgraduate education in China is at crossroad now. Choosing a right direction is crucial, especially for the discipline of higher education students. Through a careful discrimination, this study argues that neither road itself is good enough. So the third road is needed to obtain the equilibrium between the two. That is, to establish a mechanism of academic differentiation which enables diversified curricular.
