Outcomes-based Education (OBE) was initiated in the 1990s in North America. It was based on some assumptions with profound theoretical and practical foundation. It should follow some principles in the process of implementation. When it was introduced to South Africa, the establishment of its concepts and system has gone through some steps. However, some problems appeared in the process of implementation.
