Based on the design research, through content analyses and descriptive process reflection of the knowledge characteristics and qualities of teacher and undergraduate students on the process of progressive inquiry, this paper posed the importance of progressive inquiry model for cultivating the students’ ability of knowledge innovation, and gave some specific directions for implementation.
