With the development of American higher education, an increasing number of students of various races are crowding into campuses. Thus colleges and universities have to face racial issues of the new kind, which reflects the value orientation of American education and society as well. This paper introduces some racial issues on campuses of American higher education and presents the challenges American colleges and universities have to face.
