In order to promote lifelong learning and build a leaning society, the Australian Government has made a series of lifelong learning policy in recent years and the idea of lifelong learning has run through each field of the educational reform. Policies for lifelong learning in Australia mainly include reforming basic education, cultivating transition ability, promoting the cooperation between the general education and vocational education and expanding adult’s learning opportunities.
