中文摘要 本研究以台灣一所綜合大學的343位畢業生為調查對象,請其評估十種工作能力的重要程度與在校學習對提升此十種工作能力的助益程度,以了解兩者之間的落差情形,並輔以教師之評估,做為探討該校教育成長需求的基礎。研究結果發現:
(一)該校畢業生認為最重要的工作能力是問題解決能力。
(二)該校畢業生認為在校學習對與他人有效合作的能力最有幫助。
(三)該校畢業生對各種工作能力的重要性認知,均顯著高於他們對在校學習助益工作能力的評估。
(四)該校教育成長需求最大的項目為:提升學生承擔風險的能力、問題解決能力及清晰思考能力。
英文摘要 This study involved 343 graduates from one of the comprehensive universities in Taiwan. Those graduates were asked to evaluate the degree of importance of ten work abilities and how much the university education can help develop those abilities. Those two sets of evaluation data were compared to identify the needs for improvement at this university. The results of analysis revealed that graduates of this university rated problem solving as the most important work ability, and the ability to cooperate with others as the most effective knowledge gained from the university. The results also revealed that the importance of all ten work abilities was rated higher than the helpfulness of university education in developing those abilities. This study concluded that the area that this university needs to improve most is the enhancement of students’ ability of risk taking, problem solving and precise thinking.
