中文摘要 當前台灣的大學面臨著永續發展的危機,大學科系費心於招收優質的學生和提升教育品質,若能了解大學生選擇校系因素和對校系的喜愛感受,並探討兩者的關聯或影響關係,當利於大學校系經營。本研究探討大學選擇因素與大學教育品質知覺兩者的關係,定義前者包括選校因素和選系因素,後者包括大學喜愛度和科系符合度,分析台灣高等教育資料庫中92和94學年度大一學生調查資料。研究結果發現,選校和選系因素彼此達中低度相關,選系因素相對於選校因素,與大學喜愛度和科系符合度知覺的關聯性較高,影響效果較大。結構方程模式考驗指出,選系和選校因素相關高,選系因素影響科系符合度知覺,大學喜愛度和科系符合度知覺彼此影響,大學喜愛度受選校和選系因素影響低,科系符合度受選校因素影響也低,此外亦提出四個結構關係模式,以說明選校因素和選系因素、大學喜愛度和科系符合度的彼此影響關係。
英文摘要 In Taiwan, some universities have faced various crises in sustainable development. Many departments have strove to enroll excellent students as well as to improve educational quality. It would be beneficial to understand the factors which influence undergraduates to choose colleges and their perceptions of university educational quality, and to discuss the relationships between influential factors and undergraduates’ perceptions. Therefore the study discussed the relationships between the influential factors of college choice and the perceptions of educational quality in universities. In the study, college choice was defined as both choosing universities and choosing departments. The perceptions of educational quality for universities were also defined as both liking to university and fitness to department. The samples including freshman in the 2003 and 2005 academic years, were chosen from the Integrated Higher Education Database Systems in Taiwan (IHEDS). The findings indicated that factors of university choice and factors of department choice were medium correlated. The factors of department choice were more positively correlated and great effective than the factors of college choice. According to verifications
