终身学习理念的兴起使元学习教育成为必然。为了最大限度的发挥人类的潜能，发展其对自身学习的支持能力，激励他们获得终身发展所需要的全部知识。文章在界定了元学习和终身学习内涵的基础上，探讨了两者之间的关系，并从发展自我认知智能、树立正确的学习动机、增进学习品质三方面，提出了通过加强元学习教育促进终身学习能力发展的策略。

| 英文摘要 |
It becomes a necessity for metal earning education with the appearance of lifelong learning idea. In order to exert human beings’ potential to the utmost extent, improve their supportive ability to self-study and inspirit them to gain all the needed knowledge for lifelong development, this paper explores the relation between metal earning education and life long learning on the basis of defining the connotation of them. At last we put forward our strategies of developing lifelong learning ability by means of enhancing metal earning education from developing self-cognition intelligence, setting up correct learning motivation and strengthening learning quality.
