本研究旨在探討中部四縣市父母對學齡前子女之教養態度及不同背景變項之幼 兒、父母與父母教養態度之差異情形。本研究採用問卷調查法，以中部四縣市學齡 前幼兒的父母共1039人為研究樣本，運用自編「父母教養態度相關因素之調查」問 卷為研究工具。本研究的主要發現有：
一、中部四縣市學齡前父母傾向「專制威權型」和「開明權威型」之教養態度。
二、母親的原生家庭、父母親的年齡、父親的族群、父母親的教育程度、父親的職 業、家庭每月總收入等變項的不同組別，其父母的教養態度有顯著性的差異存 在。
三、父親的原生家庭、母親族群、父母婚姻狀況、母親職業、家庭信仰、家庭結 構、居住地等變項的不同組別，其父母教養態度並無顯著性的差異存在。
四、研究結果顯示家中不同子女數、幼兒的不同性別及出生序，其父母教態度並無 顯著差異存在。
五、家庭每月總收入、父親教育程度、母親的教育程度與父母教養態度呈現顯著的 相關性，而家中子女數、父母親年齡、管教一致性與父母教養態度未達顯著相
關。

| 英文摘要 |
The main purpose of this research was to understand the children rearing attitudes of the parents from the central part of Taiwan. A questionnaire method was employed for this study. There were 1039 parents from central part of Taiwan participated this study. The findings were as follows：
1. Parents’ rearing attitudes of preschool children tended to be more ‘authoritarian and authoritative oriented’ in central part of Taiwan.
2. There were significant differences of the rearing attitudes among , mother’s various original families, parents age differences, father’s tribes, parents educational levels, fathers’ occupations, the total family income .
3. There were no significant differences of the rearing attitudes the fathers’ various original families, the mothers’ tribes, parents marital status, mothers’ occupations, family religion, family structure and the residential region.
4. There were no significant differences of the parent rearing attitudes among the number of sibling, the gender and the birth order of the children.
5. The findings indicated that there were significant correlations between parents’ rearing attitudes and family income, parents’ educational levels, but no significant correlations were found between parents’ rearing attitudes and the number of sibling, parents’ age, and the agreement of parenting.
