中文摘要	中国人的螺旋式思维和西方人的直线式思维构成中西思维中的一个主要差异。这种思维差异在语言上体现在修饰语与中心词之间、句子之中和篇章结构上。因此，要向学生讲解这种思维差异以及在语言上的表征，以便使他们写出地道的英语作文。
英文摘要	The Chinese spiral thinking and the Western linear thinking constitute a major difference between the Chinese thinking pattern and Western thinking pattern. This difference, as far as language is concerned, shows itself in the following: between the modifier and the central word, within a sentence, and in the structure of a text. Therefore, it is necessary for a teacher to explain this difference to his students so that they should write authentic English essays.
