翻译学与国际传播语言学是综合性极强的学科。两者都涉及语言和文化等要素在不同文化之间的传播与交流活动，在学科定义、研究领域、研究内容和研究手法等多方面均有一定的相似度，存在着不同程度的交叉与融合。本文拟通过对翻译和传播活动过程的分析，探讨翻译学与国际传播语言学之间的关系，并指出两门学科因其关注面的相似性，存在多元交叉的现象，由此为二者互相借鉴先进研究成果提供了一定依据。探寻翻译学与国际传播语言学研究之交叉领域，明确两者独立与交叉的部分，也有利于在相互借鉴的同时明确学科界限，保持各自的学科特色。

| 英文摘要 |
Translation Studies and Linguistics of International Communication are two disciplines which are highly interactive, sharing much in common in the definitions, areas of research, contents of research and methodologies as cross-cultural communications. This paper tries to discuss the nature and the relationship of the two processes known as translating and communicating so as to draw the conclusion that the two disciplines can benefit from each other to a great extent based on their similarities and that adopting an interdisciplinary approach would be the best way to conduct the relevant research.
