重庆市构建[西部教育高地]的目标离不开大学外语教育的发展。但目前我市的大学外语发展仍然在师资水平、教学内容、课程设置等方面存在不少的问题。笔者通过对学生的调查采访和大学英语教学过程中的所见所想，针对大学英语教学存在的问题，提出了一些建议。

It is a necessity and a must to improve the college English teaching quality in order to construct Chongqing into the foreign language education center in the West of China. However, many problems still exist in teacher quality, course arrangement, etc. Inspired by the experience of college English teaching and a survey conducted among college students, the author gives some suggestions to the problems existed in college English teaching.
