英文摘要 |
Through analyzing the development of civic education in Hong Kong before and after Hong Kong's return, the article finds that national identity make little progress during the beginning period of Hong Kong's return due to the colonial education's influence. Although civic education has improved in recent years, it lacks a holistic view. The author proposes that Hong Kong needs to construct its civic education on global, national and local levels and pay more attention to its implementation in school.
