The thesis clarifies the positive effects of the history of art on cultivating the professional quality, especially the teaching ability of art appreciation of the history of art in normal schools on the basis of a large quantity of data coming from the relatuive research of the relative research of the normal students learning situation of the history of art and their teaching performance of artistic appreciation during the teaching practice period.
