暗能量(dark energy)一詞是物裡學家用來描述促使宇宙大爆炸與不斷膨脹的平穩黑暗力量。它宛如中國道家思想的「道」般，擁有著無限的衍生力。此種蘊含正面能量的負象概念，早在中國水墨藝術之墨色美學發展上就有著深厚的影響，而西方現代主義藝術家 Kasimir Malevich 也視它為建構新世界的契機。當代藝術著名英國雕塑家Anish Kapoor，更是以暗能量觀點作為感官昇華體驗的生命探索，他擅長在局部的黑暗空間注入相當的意義，讓空間成為能允許更多感受去成長與進行的地方。本研究將透過天文物理中的宇宙觀、宗教中的救贖經驗與哲學裡的存有辯證，解析Kapoor 如何利用暗能量詮釋形而上的存有經驗。

| 英文摘要 |
Dark energy, the term of physical cosmology, is use to describe a hypothetical form of energy that is smooth and dark, and permeates all of space and tends to increase the rate of expansion of the universe. Its mystical and invisible creation power is similar to the application of the black ink in Chinese art which was based on the idea of Tao. Such
negative imagery with a positive energy can also be found in the Western abstract art. Anish Kapoor is one of the well-known contemporary artists to use the idea of dark energy in the creations. In his works, the most popular method is by using a black hole placed in the center of a simple large form to awake viewer’s mind and lead him into a sublime realm.
This research will study on the transcendent experience that dark energy creates in Kapoor’s art. Through the aspects of the energy idea in physical cosmology, the sublime experience in religion and dialectic of existence in philosophy to explore how the artist opens a new door for today’s sensational art.
