基于网络的大学英语自主学习是信息技术与传统教学整合的一种新型教学形式，打破了时空的限制。自主学习是学生作为整个学习活动的主体、信息加工的主体、意义的主动建构者，而教师只是扮演意义建构的帮助者、促进者、支持者和评价者的角色。结合自主学习理论和建构主义学习理论，对这种教学模式进行界定，尝试了Blackboard系统下大学英语教学的新模式，改善了英语教学效果。

| 英文摘要 |
Web-based self-learning mode of English for university students is a new teaching pattern which breaks the limit of time and space through integrating the traditional teaching from with new information technology. In this new design, university students play the major role to process the information and construct the meaning of the entire activity while the teacher acts only as the promoter, supporter and valuator to help them during the process. Through combining the self-learning theory with the learning theory of Constructivism, this mode can be defined as a new teaching from by which may greatly improve the teaching effect of the traditional way under the[Blackboard]system.
